Every e-commerce shop (including direct sales shops) needs a set of pages that will help build trust and answer your customers' questions.
Most commonly, you will need an about page - where you can tell the story of the shop, why it was created, and what it brings to the table. These essential pages could be:
Contact page - where people can contact you directly via the contact form
FAQ - where you answer frequently asked questions
Shipping -Shipping rules
Legal and Policy pages: Refunds, Returns, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service
Luckily, Shopify will provide you with templates for some of these pages. Go back to your Shopify dashboard and then go to Settings → Legal.
To fast track, go through the pages, and then under each page click on "Create from template". Adjust the content of the templates to ensure they reflect your strategy. Click "Save" when you are done.
For all other pages, you will have to create them manually. But don't worry, it's not difficult. Go back to your Shopify dashboard and go to Online Store→Pages. Click Add page.
You will see an editing panel where you can enter the content of the page. The interface is intuitive, so you won't have any trouble.
As you can see, Shopify does provide you with all the usual text editing features such as bold text, italics, and you can also add images and even videos. Once you have created your page, don't forget to adjust the search engine listing information. You can find this section below the content area of the home page.
When you have finished, click on the main "Save" button in the top right-hand corner.
Continue like this and create all the pages you need - your about page, FAQ, etc. But there is one difference. When working on your contact page, look in the right-hand column, and under the "Templates" section, change the "Template suffix" parameter to page. contact. When you do this, Shopify will automatically add a functional contact form to the bottom of your contact page.
Go through the list of required pages one by one until all pages have been created.
