Most Shopify themes allow sellers to make some changes, and sellers can of course make massive changes to the final look of their shop, so sellers don't have to worry about using Shopify templates that will always look the same.
From the admin screen in the back office, sellers can select Themes from the navigation menu on the left. On this page, sellers can see the themes they are using in real-time in the top bar of the page, with two buttons in the top right corner of the corresponding position.
The first is "Action", which contains some basic settings, including the option to allow sellers to make a copy of the theme. This is one of the recommended features for sellers - if there is anything you don't like about the template, you can simply delete the copy and start again with the appropriate design.
The second button is "Customize". Once clicked, the system will automatically redirect you to a page where you can control all the basic functions of the shop template. Here, sellers can explore the purchased template in-depth, test the features and get a full understanding of what the template has to offer.
Common features include
-Uploading of brand logos
-Uploading a home page rotating image
-Adding relevant item functionality on product pages
-Selecting the number of items to be displayed on the collection page
-Colour schemes
-Font selection
Some themes also allow sellers to upload or modify the product images to be included on the left, right, or center of the page. Sellers can also choose whether they want to display the like/share to Twitter/share to Pinterest/+1 buttons on the page.
