If you are interested in applying for a Shopify capital loan, you need to ensure that you are eligible on the terms and conditions of Shopify. Unfortunately, as the Shopify capital home page tells business owners, not everyone can successfully apply for a loan.
If you are considered eligible for funding, Shopify will contact you instead of applying for and submitting credit checks. In other words, you have to wait for Shopify to tell you that you can get the money before you can apply.
Shopify's administrator will send you an email to tell you what pre-qualified amounts you can apply for. If you have not been invited to view the funding option, you cannot get a loan.
Shopify determines who should be funded based on the following circumstances.
Currently, Shopify capital loans are limited to Shopify stores in the United States and Canada.
If you receive a message from Shopify that you can get capital, your amount will remain valid and available for 30 days. Shopify, however, will constantly reassess businesses to see if they have more or less risk.
If your pre-qualification amount expires or Shopify has withdrawn them, you will not be able to apply for that amount again. If you are still eligible for any capital, you will be able to see it on your Shopify administration page.
